Communication and Knowledge Management Responsible
Emma is a black African woman who speaks French, a language with colonial roots. She self-identifies as a lesbian author and black African feminist activist, whose work focuses on the visibility and promotion of the voices and stories of LBTQ+ individuals. Emma has collaborated with various organizations in Africa to advocate for the rights of LBTQ+ Francophone Africans. She founded a digital media outlet, EmmaLInfos (WOMA Media), which showcases the voices and narratives of LBTQ+ individuals in Francophone West Africa. Emma joined the QAYN team as the Communication and Knowledge Management Responsible to continue her engagement in the movment. In her writing, Emma expresses her love for black African women and works towards empowering the LGBTQ+ community to be the masters of their own narrative.
