Nataka Gmakagni

Co-Coordinator

Originally from Togo, Nataka has contributed to the creation and technical support of LBQWSW women’s groups in West Africa and Cameroon. Queer and feminist Nataka joined the QAYN team from 2013 to 2015 as LBQWSW Program Manager. Before QAYN, they worked from 2016 to 2019 in Ivory Coast as a Project Manager at Alternative CI. They are back to serve as Co-coordinator at QAYN.
They believe in the transformational leadership, structuring, development and strengthening of queer movements in Africa.
Nataka has a Masters in Insurance Studies and has lived in Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Togo. When Nataka does not work, they watch Mangas cartoons and play pool.
